A transcript is a record of all of the courses you completed, grades you earned, and programs you completed at UCLA Extension. We offer both official and unofficial transcripts.
Official transcripts are typically required for admission to other colleges and universities, and occasionally required for job applications.
Your official transcript from UCLA Extension will be produced on transcript paper including registrar signature, date, and university seal. It is delivered in a sealed envelope.
We have partnered with Parchment to deliver official transcripts where you have the option of ordering a digital or paper copy. Use your UCLA Extension student portal login information to preview your official transcript, see cost and delivery options, and to place your order.
Unofficial transcripts are typically used as an academic advising tool or for general business purposes. These cannot be used as an official transcript.
Unofficial transcripts are downloaded as a PDF. There is no fee for an unofficial transcript.
Note: Courses that are in progress can appear on transcripts with a grade of “IP” (course in progress/grade pending) upon request.
UCLA Extension routinely reports enrollment data to the National Student Clearinghouse so that education loan lenders can confirm enrollment. If you have provided your social security number (SSN) during enrollment, a loan deferment form is not required. Contact your lender for more information.
